Spirit Whispers

In times of stress, it is important to practice self care. Self care is different for everyone. It has changed for me through time and circumstance. During times of grief, I turned to loved ones and needed connection to others. It was also crucial for me to practice my spiritual beliefs. These include prayer, meditation, and exploring the metaphysical. Attending church services helped me through difficult times as much as spending time alone with myself and practicing my meditations or praying. Focusing on you and taking care of you is a powerful healing tool. In everyday life, I treat myself to a bath and book in the evenings to unwind or I practice Yoga. Youtube is filled with free Yoga videos and free meditation videos. Finding my own ways of self care has been beneficial in my journey toward growing in Mind, Body, and Spirit.
